At most Walt Disney World® Resort hotels, check-in is at 3 p.m. and check-out is at 11 a.m. However, if you are arriving earlier than 3 p.m., you may still go ahead and "check in." You will be given your Key to the World card, which will later serve as your room key, and also a card with a phone number to call after 3 p.m. to get your room number. You can leave your luggage with Bell Services, who will store it until your room is ready. You are then free to go ahead and start enjoying the parks!
Note that at least one person from your party must be in your room when your luggage is delivered or picked up.
It's a good idea to pack a small bag with a change of clothes so that you don't have to rummage through your luggage before the Bell Captain stores it. This is especially helpful when you are going from one climate to the next. Packing shorts and/or swimwear will help you relax and/or enjoy the parks until your room is ready.
The same can be done if you are planning to visit the parks on your last day after your 11 a.m. check-out. You can have Bell Services hold your luggage for you while you are out and about enjoying the parks. Simply take your luggage to the Bell Services counter or call the Bell Services desk and have them pick up your bags from the room. They will tag them for you, and give you a receipt. Remember to bring your receipt with you when you are ready to leave and be sure to allow ample time, especially if heading to the airport. It could take anywhere from 5-30 minutes to retrieve your luggage depending on the amount of people checking in or out. This is a free service and gratuity is at your discretion.
